Amelia Seselja

Amelia Seselja is the Scientific Affairs and Public Health Manager for Colgate South Pacific. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Queensland and a Master of Business Administration from Flinders University. Amelia is an advocate for oral health promotion and has led and overseen the development of oral health frameworks and oral health promotion projects across Australia. As an Oral Health Therapist, she has worked in a diverse range of settings including general and specialist practice, not-for-profit, corporate and within the university setting. Throughout her career, Amelia has had strong interest in oral health promotion and public health.

Come join the Colgate team to learn about their latest innovation in oral care, Colgate Total Active Prevention.

Stannous fluoride has long been an effective antibacterial and anticaries addition to toothpaste formulas. However, in the past, its chemical properties in aqueous solution have made it difficult to stabilize in a ‘bioactive’ form. The recent development of a novel formulation of stannous fluoride stabilized with nitrate and phosphates (SNaP) has resulted in prolonged efficacy without compromising product experience and aesthetics.
