Dr Premie Pillay, PhD, Director, Global Knowledge Management Oral Care at the Colgate-Palmolive Company
Dr Pillay is the Director of Global Knowledge Management Oral Care, where she provides technical support for the Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals Division and Global Device, Mouthwash and Sensitive portfolios. Dr. Pillay holds a PhD in Chemistry from Howard University and a MS in Technology Management from Columbia University. Dr. Pillay has more than 15 years of experience developing and leading successful strategic development and implementation of new products. Dr. Pillay was granted several patents and holds multiple invention records for products and packaging. Dr Pillay moved to Knowledge Management 10 years ago. In her current role, Dr Pillay is responsible for claims strategy and innovation, liaising between the Marketing, Legal, Regulatory and the Research and Development communities, and ensuring robust data and evidence based research is leveraged for next generation technologies. In 2020, at the onset of the pandemic, she led the team responsible for understanding the role Oral Care regimens may play in helping impact the transmission of the virus.
Jasmine Bell, Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene), Colgate Professional Educator
Jasmine is the Colgate Professional Educator for South Australia. Jasmine joined the Colgate team in 2007. Graduating from TAFE SA Gilles Plains College, Jasmine holds an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene). In addition to this, Jasmine also holds a Diploma of Training Design and Development, a Diploma of Vocational Education and a Diploma of Positive Psychology.
Jasmine has extensive experience in the dental industry working in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She is a clinical tutor and lecturer at TAFE SA for Advanced Diploma of Oral Health students and also continues to work in private (general) practice, which enables her to utilise all of her hygiene knowledge and skills and share workplace experiences to enhance her students’ knowledge and understanding. As a hygienist, Jasmine, enjoys the challenge of providing care for a broad range of patients, from young children to elderly patients. Jasmine prides herself on her commitment to professional education and development, which enables her to provide quality oral health care for her patients and ensure the highest quality of education for her students.

Come and join us for a one hour webinar to explore the clinical applications of mouthrinses for your patients. This session will allow you to reinforce your understanding of what mouthrinse to use and recommend for your patients depending on their oral health needs. You will learn first hand about the mouthrinses Colgate has to offer as part of this session. Finally, we will hear from a member of the Colgate Knowledge Management team to discuss the results and outcomes of recent research exploring preprocedural rinsing.
